2000    Helen Thompson Colony: Involvement with Cincinnati, OH, ARC Chapter, the CBI Basha, and volunteer activities with many charitable organizations.

2001    Evelyn "Hopsie" Higgins: Service as ARCOA's Liaison to WIMSA and the 14 many years of her unstinting volunteerism.

2002    Judy Hunter: Many years of chairing principal fund raising project - the annual book sale - of Goodwill Industries.

2005    Isabel Clerk Huizenga: Volunteer in Rochester, MN for 40 years in ARC Emergency Military Service and other venues.

2007    Barbara J. Bruegger & Anita L. Wright: In great appreciation for Beyond The Beaches, the ARCOA trip to France.

2014    Joyce Harvey Bottenberg & Norm Bottenberg: Dedicated volunteers with the American Red Cross, the Special Olympics, the Boys and Girls Clubs of  America, and especially the Rotary Club.

2014    Rosemary Nelson Holeman: More than 50 years of volunteering with the Red Cross, especially with the handicapped swimming and blood center programs.

2015    Mary Lou Weller Chapman: Co-founded an international Red Cross youth exchange program in 1984, named the Chapman-Holcombe International Intern Program in 1986; a 70+ year volunteer with the Red Cross.

2015    Shirley Powers: The official "Volunteer Historian of Red Cross Memorabilia," Archives Department, National Headquarters.

2016    Kit Sparrow Cotton: The gift of music to senior citizens in care facilities; the gift of food with Meals on Wheels.

2016    Evelyn Safford Jacobs: Volunteered with a variety of youth sports organizations; an advocate to get children involved in sports, regardless of socio-economic status; chief fundraiser to purchase a surfboat for an Australian lifesaving club: named the Ev Jacobs.

2016    Elsie Wright: A lifetime of volunteering in her community and church; exemplifies “Love and service and helpfulness to others.”

2017    Kay Walton: Volunteer Chair of the Service to Armed Forces: Our Legacy Continues project - initiated it (2010) and continues to search for recipients.

2018    Jaclyn Walters: Volunteers with the Red Cross locally and internationally, especially in the Archives Department, researching questions and information for Chapters and the public; active volunteer with her churches.

2019    Dorothy Baume: Dedication and volunteer work on behalf of Turner's Syndrome Foundation.

2019    Narce and Leslie Caliva:  Tireless joint volunteer work with Red Cross; each received Red Cross Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019.

2021    Dorner Carmichael:  A volunteer for 6 seasons as a campground host for the National Park Service; volunteered at Annunciation House, an organization that offers hospitality to migrants, immigrants, and refugees in the border region of El Paso, TX.

2022    Ahava Martin:  For her years of mentoring SAF Mobile Staff members; coordinating continuing support with care packages, etc.; and ongoing recruitment of SAF reservists.

2023    Marsha O'Doherty:  She has given her time to the Yellow Ribbon Program which provides tuition cost waivers for veterans; volunteered with the ARC Hero Care Network, providing emergency communications and critical services to military members, veterans, and their families; and interviews candidates for the SAF reservist positions.

2024    Diane Steinhauser Shufelt:  Very active volunteer at the American Heroes Café in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, which was started 10 years ago; started an American Heroes Café in Stephens Point; coordinated a Quilts of Valor presentation in May 2024, honoring 45 female vets and ARC SRAO. 

2025    Virginia "Ginny" Close:  She was instrumental in starting the Welcoming New Neighbors group in Eau Claire, WI, which was approved as a refugee resettlement site by Lutheran Social Services and which welcomed nine Afghan men in February 2023.
